Charmian Bowes completed a Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice with Distinction from Flinders University in 2025 and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Leo Cussen. Charmian was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2026 and the High Court of Australia in the same year.

Prior to her admission to the Court, Charmian worked as a paralegal within Boutique Private Practice Firms throughout Adelaide whereby she discovered her passion for helping clients with compassion and professionalism. Charmian has extensive experience in assisting in Family Law matters before the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, as well as Estate Disputes before the Supreme Court and criminal matters in the Magistrates and District Courts. Charmian is dedicated to providing legal services which are collaborative, client-focused, and transparent.
